This journal is going to be Friends only.
My name is Katie; I'm a full time student. I'm attending University to get my degree in International Studies with a concentration in History and Religious Studies. Currently applying to graduate school for Fall 2010.
I'm dating a fabulous man who I met while he was finishing grad school. He moved to the United Arab Emirates after graduating for a good job so I spend a few months out of the year there with him. So most of the year I'm an introvert college student in the middle of no where, white-bread, Wisconsin. The other part of the year I'm an American in the Middle East. What fun huh?
I'm a smidgen obsessed with cartoons, horror films, history and politics of the Middle East, religious violence, reading Asian romance novels, eco-friendly living, and domestics such as cooking and general housekeeping. I'm also a sex-positive, pescetarian, childfree, SM-positive, liberal, humanist.
